Wladyslaw Theodor Benda(ウワディスワフテオドールベンダ)

ウワディスワフ・テオドール・ベンダは、19世紀末から20世紀前半にかけて活躍したポーランド出身のアメリカ人画家、イラストレーター、デザイナーです。特に、舞台衣装やマスクのデザインで名声を博し、その独創的な作品は、演劇界に大きな影響を与えました。

ウワディスワフ・テオドール・ベンダ経歴

1873年1月15日、ポーランドのポズナンに生まれる 1899年、アメリカに移住 1900年代初頭、雑誌の挿絵画家として活躍 1910年代、舞台衣装やマスクのデザインを手がけるようになる 1920年代、ハリウッドで映画の衣装デザインにも携わる 1948年11月19日、アメリカ・ニュージャージー州ニューアークで死去（享年75歳）
