Berthe Morisot (1841-1895) was a French impressionist painter and is known for being the first woman to join the Impressionist group. She excelled in landscapes and still lifes, depicting everyday scenes and women with delicate touches and vivid colors .

• He grew up in a wealthy family and learned painting from an early age.

• In 1874, she married Eugène Manet , the younger brother of Édouard Manet .
• Her husband Eugène died in 1892 .
