Harald Giersing

Harald Geersing (1881-1927) was a Danish impressionist painter known for his female nudes, portraits and landscapes. He contributed to the development of the classical modernist movement in Denmark between 1910 and 1920 and is remembered as one of Denmark's most important 20th-century artists , specialising in landscape and portrait painting .

• Studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts from 1900 to 1906
• Between 1910 and 1920, he contributed to the development of the Danish Classical Modernism movement.
• Died in Copenhagen on January 15, 1927 (aged 45)
