Born April 6, 1875 in Livorno, Italy
In the 1890s, while studying law in Florence, he contributed illustrations to satirical magazines.
In 1898, he moved to Paris and began working as an illustrator.
In the early 1900s, he emerged as a poster artist.
In 1905, he became famous for his poster for the chocolate company Chocolat Crush.
Since then, he has worked on advertising posters for many companies.
Died on February 2, 1942 in Cannes, France (aged 66)
