Watanabe Seitei Biography
- Born in 1851 in Edo (present-day Tokyo)
- Kikuchi Yosai studied traditional Japanese painting under the Kano school
- In 1878, he exhibited his work at the Paris World's Fair and won a bronze medal.
- In 1881, he won the second prize for outstanding technique at the Domestic Industrial Exposition.
- From 1890 to 1891, he published "Fangji Huafu"
- Died in 1918 (aged 67)
