Kristen Koepke Biography
Born in Copenhagen , Denmark on May 26, 1810. He showed an interest in painting from an early age, and entered the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 1822. In the 1830s, he studied Renaissance art in Italy . After returning to Denmark, he produced portraits and landscapes. He died in Copenhagen on November 7, 1848 (aged 38).
