Magnus Enckell
Magnus Enkel (1870-1925) was a Finnish painter and graphic artist born in Helsinki, and one of the leading figures of Finnish Symbolism. Having studied at the Ateneum art school and later at the Academie Julian in Paris, he was heavily influenced by Symbolism and the Art Nouveau movement, and his work often features languid, dreamlike landscapes and portraits.

Enkel's style and achievements
