Leo Gestel

Leo Gestel was a painter active in the Netherlands from the late 19th century to the early 20th century. • He learned painting from his uncle and studied at the National Academy of Fine Arts in Amsterdam.

• In 1911, he founded the Modern Art Circle with Piet Mondrian and Jan Sluijters.
