Julie de Graag
Julie de Graag was a Dutch painter, printmaker, and illustrator active in the early 20th century. She is known primarily for her woodblock prints, and left behind many works with motifs of plants and landscapes. Her works, which poetically express the beauty of nature with delicate lines and colors, are still loved by many people today.

- Born on July 18, 1877 in Gookum, Holland.
- During her childhood she learned painting from her mother, who was an amateur painter.
- He later went on to study woodblock printing at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague.
- He began his career as a woodblock artist and illustrator in the early 1900s.
- He died in The Hague on February 2, 1924 (aged 46).

Flaach's woodcuts are characterised by simple lines and delicate use of colour. Using plants, flowers, landscapes and other motifs, the beauty of nature is expressed in a poetic way. It is said to have been influenced by Japanese ukiyo-e, and there are oriental elements to it.
She produced many works during her lifetime, most of which were woodblock prints. He was active in a wide range of fields, including illustrating picture books and magazines. However, he took his own life at the young age of 46. In recent years, his work has been reevaluated, and his delicate and beautiful works are attracting attention again.
