Charles Antoine Lemaire
Charles Antoine Lemaire (1800-1871) was a French botanist and botanical writer, known especially for his research on cacti. His book "Iconographie Descriptive des Cactées" (Illustrations and Descriptions of Cacti) contains many beautiful illustrations of cacti that he drew.
