Leonardo da Vinci Biography

Born on April 15, 1452 near the village of Vinci in Tuscany, Italy.
Around 1466, he became an apprentice in the workshop of Verrocchio in Florence and began his training as an artist.
Around 1482, he served Ludovico Sforza, Duke of Milan, and was active in many areas, including painting and military technology.
1495-1498: Created "The Last Supper"
Around 1503, he began work on the Mona Lisa.
In 1516, he was invited by King Francis I of France to live at Clos near Amboise.
Died at Crewe on 2 May 1519, aged 67
