Many of his works are serene and poetic landscapes, bringing peace and tranquility to the viewer.
Among the Impressionist group , Sisley was the painter who most consistently painted landscapes, and his works are highly regarded as embodying the ideals of Impressionism. His works are filled with a unique delicacy and poetry that is different from those of Monet and Renoir .
