Born in Tokyo in 1976
After graduating from Tama Art University, he joined the Renseikai
Held his first solo exhibition in 2001 and attracted attention.
In 2009, he received the Show Exhibition Award from the Swiss Ceramic Foundation.
He has been based in Tokyo since 2010.

Takahashi's style is filled with humor and contradictions. At first glance, his pieces have strange and unusual shapes, but upon closer inspection, organic forms reminiscent of natural objects emerge. In recent years, he has been actively holding solo exhibitions overseas, receiving high praise from around the world. As one of Japan's leading ceramicists, there are high hopes for his future success.
