Paul Cezanne

Paul Cézanne was a French painter active from the late 19th century to the early 20th century. In 1858, he entered the law faculty of the University of Aix, but decided to become a painter and moved to Paris.
In the 1860s, he applied to enter the École des Beaux-Arts, but was unsuccessful and instead studied at the Académie Suisse.
Participated in the first Impressionist exhibition in 1874
After the Third Impressionist Exhibition in 1877, he began to distance himself from the group.

In his later years, he repeatedly painted "Mont Sainte-Victoire"
