Walter Hood Fitch was a botanical artist and lithographer active in the 19th century in England . Walter Hood Fitch Biography
- Born February 28, 1817 in Glasgow, Scotland
- Worked as a textile designer in the 1830s
- In 1837 he moved to London and became an assistant to the botanical artist William Jackson Hooker.
- In 1841 he became the painter for the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew .
- Died in London on January 14, 1877 (aged 59)
